SUBJECT: BACF V3.1 and V4.2 Pin Programing issue

PURPOSE: The purpose of this document is to provide the Operators with the applicability of Aircraft impacted with BACF V3.1 and
V4.2 Pin Programing issue. The BACF (Braking Action Computation Function) will be INOP, and it is transparent for the flight crew.

Description / Operational Impact Mitigation / Interim Action

• It has been confirmed on production that there is an incompatibility • If already installed, due to very limited impacts, BACF S/W can be
between some [A319/320/321/330 versions] and [BACF V3.1 (SA only) kept on impacted MSNs until a corrective BACF software is available.
