Dear Sir / Madam,

In line with the DepEd Order 24, s. 2008 known as the Institutionalization of the Brigada Eskwela
Program or the National Schools Maintenance Week (NSMW), the undersigned, on behalf of Mt.
View Elementary School, is humbly asking your participation in the said program.

As we deviate from the traditional concept of physical cleaning, painting, repainting, and doing
minor repairs in schools and will instead prioritize preparations and strengthening partnership
engagement to ensure that quality basic education will continue despite the challenges posed by
COVID-19.

For this year, the BE and OBE, the annual activities of DepEd to prepare for the opening of classes,
were reconfigured to be locally implemented under the joint theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan”, which
will run on August 3 until September 3, 202 . Tara Na, Brigada Na!

If you are willing to be a part of it, we encourage our partners to share any of the following below as
part of introducing protection and health protocols to learners and teachers.
✓ Thermal scanners; Thermal thermometer
✓ Hand sanitizing equipment or materials, such as rubbing alcohol, anti-bacterial or germicidal soap;
✓ Cleaning tools, materials or disinfectants that may be used to disinfect the learning areas, such as
spray tank/s, disinfectant spray or disinfecting bleach, foot bath;
✓ Vegetable seedlings for urban / home gardening
✓ Disposable surgical/face mask/shield and surgical gloves;
✓ Multivitamins capsules, tablets, or syrups for our DepEd personnel and school children;
✓ Printing of COVID-19 sanitation/proper hand washing, hygiene information materials; and
✓ Printing of materials and provision of supplies for remote learning for the learners, teachers and
parents.
