On the whiteboard, I will sketch the basic


contour of a human.
Ask pupils to come forward and label the
diagram with the appropriate labels as you call
out various bodily parts. As visual aids, you can
make use of image cards or flashcards.
As they label each body part, encourage your
kids to participate and talk about how each
serves its purpose. We could say, "Our eyes
help us see things," or "Our hands help us pick
up objects."

Consolidation To make sure the pupils have a thorough


understanding of how the human body
functions, ask them questions. Discuss the
value of taking care of the body by eating a
good diet, engaging in regular exercise, and
getting adequate sleep.

Encourage the kids to design or write their own
mini books that illustrate the various bodily
parts and their functions.
Give them a handout of the worksheet showing
the body parts then write down the function
and label.

Reflection: The learners enjoyed the lesson as they were


fully participating, the time was sufficient as
learners had a lot of questions which also gave
them time to memorize the functions of the
body parts as well as label. Inquired as to what
they enjoyed most about the lesson and what
they found intriguing or unexpected. They will
be able to solidify their comprehension and
reflect.
