Dear, Hon. Mintu:

Greetings!

This has reference to the proposed amendments on the ordinance of the

Community Fish Landing Center, Ordinance No._____ " An Ordinance
________________". The mentioned ordinance was enacted prior to the
expansion of the community fish landing; therefore it lacks the necessary
provisions which are a must for the efficient and smooth operation of the present
set up. More specifically the conditions to be followed by present occupants and
the necessary regulatory fees to be imposed by the local government. In addition,
the local government is gearing towards yellow accreditation of our tuna catch;
hence this office believes that all the necessary protocols and corresponding penal
provisions should be contained in the ordinance.

Relevant to the foregoing, we would like to request that this amendment be

calendared for a committee hearing with the concerned stakeholders in the
soonest possible time available.
