In lesson 3.01, you chose an article to read. In this lesson, you learned that it is important to use
background knowledge and predicting skills as you read a text. We also talked about determining an
author’s purpose for writing and their point of view. There are 3 parts to this assessment. Read all of the
instructions in this template to create your assignment. You will use the article you chose back in Lesson 301
(the articles can also be found in the Help Site).

This article was my choice because it stood out to me because it was a more important topic. I also
wanted to know other ways to improve my lifestyle. I also chose this article because I have read things
like it before.

I move my finger like a skier, because I play a lot of video games and my fingers have to shift a
