I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the session, students should be able to:
1. Identify and understand the different agricultural sectors.
2. Determine the roles of each agricultural sectors in economic development of the country.
3. Appreciate the importance of each sector in economic development of the country.

III. PROCEDURE:
A. Preliminary of Lesson
1. Review:
Based on our lesson last time, what is the meaning of Economics
2. Motivation: Directions: Listen and sing the song “Magtanim ay ‘Di Biro”
Give five things that comes into your mind when you hear that song.
Magtanim ay 'di biro maghapong nakayuko
'Di man lang makaupo, di man lang makatayo
Braso ko'y namamanhid, baywang ko'y nangangawit
Binti ko'y namimitig, sa pagkababad sa tubig

DIRECTION: Divide the class into four groups according to their seating arrangements.
Chose 2 representatives for each group to pick our Mystery box. The first box contains the
Sectors of Agriculture, while the second box contains instruction on what are you going to do
in order to relate in the sectors of agriculture.

1. Ask the students:
a. Based on our activity, analyze what are the Agricultural sectors are
present in our country?
b. What do you think are the roles of each sector?
c. Why do we need to know and understand the different agricultural
sectors?
d. How does these agricultural sectors contribute to the economic
development of our country?
VI. ABSTRACTION
Show the PowerPoint Presentation and discuss the different agricultural sectors and their roles in
economic development of our country.

c. Do you think that these sectors contribute to the development of our country?
d. Given the formula of how to get the GDP, how much did the agricultural sectors

IX. ASSIGNMENT:
Instructions: Write a SLOGAN based on the topic below. The poem must contain three
stanzas or more. Do this on separate paper.
Topic: “The call of the student to solve the problems faced by the Agricultural sector”
