Task : Direction in a city in Germany

Sie und Ihre Freunde bekommen einen neuen Job in einer Stadt in
Deutschland. Sie suchen Ihre neue Firma. Sie müssen die Richtungen/Wege
beschreiben. Sie müssen auch die Firma und Ihr Büro beschreiben.

You and your friend have been offered a new job in one of the cities in Germany. You
are looking for your new office. You must describe the directions and the building of
your office.

Please use these keywords:

● Richtung (rechts / links / geradeaus / Straße / usw.)
● Orientierung im Gebäude in der Stadt (Etage / Erdgeschoss / neben / vor usw.)
● Orientierung in der Stadt (Bank / Post / usw.)
● Nomen (Tourist/in / Empfangsmitarbeiter/in / Fahrkarte / Fußgänger/in /
Taxifahrer/in)

Please use these questions:

NOTE : SCRIPT
1. This project carries 40 % marks. (10% - the script; 30% - the role play).
2. This project is a group work of 4-5 students from the same class.
3. The group must write and act out the dialogue.
4. Your assignment must be typewritten (font Arial 11, spacing – 1.5).
5. The length of the script for each group must be above 50 sentences.
6. The script must be written BASED ON THE TOPIC GIVEN.
7. You must use ALL the KEYWORDS and KEY QUESTIONS given in the first page.
8. The script must be written ONLY IN GERMAN & IN SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE.
9. DO NOT GOOGLE TRANSLATE THE WHOLE SENTENCE. STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED
TO GOOGLE TRANSLATE ONLY UNFAMILIAR WORDS OF THE SENTENCE.
10. The script must have at least 3 related scenes (with a continuous storyline).
11. Please write writers’ name for each scene.
12. Every group member must have equal contribution in the project. The failure in
contributing equally and fairly will be penalized.
13. Make sure your script is properly bound (tape binding) for submission and using the
standard cover page.
14. Please submit the draft (in German) for correction in week 10. Do not submit in PDF
format.
15. Submit your final script in soft copy (PDF format) and hard copy during the
presentation in week 13 or 14.

NOTE : ROLE PLAY

1. The duration of the role play must be in between 3 - 4 minutes (max. 10 mins including
role play preparation).
2. You are encouraged to use your own creativity such as using props and unique clothing etc.
during your presentation.
3. Every group leader needs to greet and introduce (z.B: Guten Morgen/ Tag. Wir sind
Gruppe … Heute möchten wir ein Rollenspiel präsentieren)
4. Every group member must introduce themselves in German (name & character’s name)
before the presentation. (z.B: Ich heiße … / Mein Name …/ Ich bin …) (Mein Charakter
ist …/ Ich spiele die Rolle als …/ Ich bin als …)
5. Please put your name tag (full name) on your upper chest.
