INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS

1. Answer the question in the Dimension Paper (Slip-sort) and Bill of Quantities for Civil
Engineering Works

2. All measurement must be strictly in accordance with the principles laid down in
Malaysian Standard Method of Measurement for Civil Engineering Works (MyCESMM2).

3. This assessment is to achieve CLO2 and CLO3 as per stated below:

a. CLO2: Measure based on drawings and specifications by using the current
Malaysian Civil Engineering Method of Measurement (MyCESMM) for works in
Earthworks, Concrete Work and ROADS AND PAVINGS.
b. CLO3: Organize all measured works, and compile a complete Bills of Quantities
for Earthworks, Concrete Work and ROADS AND PAVINGS based on the current
Malaysian Civil Engineering Method of Measurement (MyCESMM).

4. The mode of this assessment is groupwork. Please refer to your lecturer on the number
of group members in a group. It is advisable that each group must not exceed THREE
(3) number of members.

5. The answer must be in handwritten.

6. Please submit the assignment with the cover provided.

Prepare a Bill of Quantities complete with taking off for the “Cadangan Membina dan
Menyiapkan Projek Kompleks Penempatan Agropolitan Chemomoi, Mukim Pelangai,
Daerah Bentong, Pahang Darul Makmur” as indicated in drawing
RPC/CHEMOMOI/P3/C/JCT-01 for :
i. Flexible Pavement (exclude Road Shoulder)
ii. One (1) Road Furniture – Signage
iii. One (1) Road Furniture – Pavement Marking
