designated/defined areas.
c. All works carried out on site will be monitored by the HSE officer to ensure compliance to all safety
requirements.
b) MATERIALS AT SITE
a. UNLOADING
i. Materials will be transported to site separately as per requirements.
b. MATERIAL ARRANGEMENT
i. To avoid materials being moved on site, the materials for will be located in close proximity of
the repair locations. This will help minimize any damages to the supplied materials.
ii. Materials will be checked and verified with the approved submittals prior to unloading.
c. STORAGE OF MATERIALS
i. Small tools like trowel, mixer, etc. will be stored in a convenient area to avoid misplacing the
smaller items.
ii. All materials on site will be covered with an appropriate cover to prevent dust retention and
any paint damages.
iii. All materials stored on site will be under a marking tape/cone to intimate personnel accessing
this area.
iv. Materials will be kept free from dirt, grease and other foreign materials.
v. All materials delivered to site will be inspected by the BLK internal QC, QC will ensure that all
materials comply to the requirements mentioned in the SOW and the approved submittals.
9. REPAIR WORKS
9.1 MINOR CRACK/HOLE REPAIRS USING WEBEREP 360 FFR

Weberep 360 FFR is a dry pre-mixed polymer-modified cementitious coating based on hydraulic binders,
siliceous filler, water retaining agents and other admixtures. Weberep 360 FFR is available in white and light-
grey. Weberep 360 FFR is used as a render in one or two coats, on walls and ceilings in internal and external
conditions. It can be used to fill pinholes prior to over coating, for general repro-filling over large areas, up to 3
mm depth and fairing coat. Weberep 360 FFR can be used to fill superficial cracks in concrete and plasters on
concrete and masonry surfaces.
I. PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATE
The substrate should be sound, clean free from any dust or demoulding products and oils. Roughen
the surface to remove any laitance. The surface should be moistened in hot weather. It should not be
overheated or frozen.
II. PRODUCT PREPARATION
The weberep 360 FFR paste is obtained by mixing a 20 kg bag with 5.4 to 7 litres of clean cool water,
using a suitable mixer. The paste should be mixed vigorously until fully homogeneous. Clean tools with
water immediately after use. Ideal application temperature is between + 5ºC and + 35ºC. If the
application temperature is higher than 35 ºC, make sure to use cool water to keep the mixed mortar
temperature below 30 ºC.
III. PRODUCT APPLICATION

Apply the paste with a steel trowel. It should be allowed to partly set before smoothing. If a very
smooth finish is required, a small amount of water may be sprayed on to the surface of the weberep
360 FFR prior to final smoothing.
IV. CURING
Weberep 360 FFR should be cured with clean water for at least three days by spraying twice a day.

9.2 MAJOR CAVITY REPAIRS USING WEBEREP 331 TX

Weberep 331 TX is a ready-to-use mortar mainly made of sand (reconstituted grain size range), special
cement, fibres, and special additives that provide special properties: non-shrinking, thixotropic, high strength,
high adhesion and compactness. The highly compacted grains slows down carbonation. This can be used for
Repair of concrete surfaces, honeycombing, edges of steps and all types of load bearing situations and
Restoring the structure of damaged construction columns, slabs, etc. and Reinforcing of weakened structures
such as balconies, pedestals and cornices.

I. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Weberep 331 TX may be applied on sound concrete, masonry, rock or similar materials. Remove
damaged concrete and laitance by chipping with a pick or cold-chiselling to get a rough surface. The
area must be surrounded by clean edges. Do not feather edges. The surface must also be free from
any trace of grease or oil. Brush or scrape corroded steel with a metal brush, or sand it to remove all
rust particles. Remove dust from all surfaces to be fixed. Saturate the surface with water by copiously
spraying just before application, and if possible, 6 hours before application as well.

II. PRODUCT PREPARATION

Mix a 50 kg bag ep 331 TX with 8 to 8.5 litres of clean water until a smooth paste is obtained. Use half
the quantity of water for a 25 Kg bag.

III. PRODUCT APPLICATION

Weberep 331 TX can be applied Manually with a trowel OR By using a dry or wet spraying machine.
Weberep 331 TX must be used within one hour from mixing depending on temperature & site
condition. For thickness more than 50 mm, it is recommended to apply weberep 331 TX in 2 layers.
When the first coat is applied it must be directly roughened to increase bonding with the second coat.
Re-mixing with an extra amount of water is forbidden. After application, cure the exposed surface by
spraying cool water for 3 days, by using a curing compound like or by covering with properly secured
plastic sheeting. Ideal application temperature is between + 5ºC and + 35ºC. If the application
temperature is higher than 35ºC, make sure to use cool water to keep the mixed mortar temperature
below 30ºC.

10. INSPECTION OF REPAIR WORKS

Inspection request will be requested for the following the repair works
1. Upon identification prior to repair
2. Upon repair of identified crack/cavity
