Work Section: Pavement Drainage
Activity: Construction of Drainage Manholes

Date: 21st November 2006

1. All work, materials and plant must be in accordance with the Employers Requirements.
2. All drawings in use for site work must be clearly marked ‘ISSUED FOR CONSTRUCTION’
3. All works must be within the tolerances stated in the Employer’s requirements.
4. All Works Must be carried out in accordance with the Method Statement – Section 1
5. All personnel should be suitably qualified and competent to carry out the work for which they are
employed.
6. The work must be carried out in accordance with the following approved I.F.C drawings: -
 PW/ABC/200 Pavement Geometric Layout
 PW/ABC/301 General Drainage Layout
 PW/ABC/313 Manholes Schedule
 PW/ABC/314 to 331 Various Manhole Interception Details
 PW/ABC/343 Typical Manhole Rebar Details
 PW/ABC/345 Typical Manhole Rebar Schedule
7. All concrete work must be in accordance with Section 10 of the Employers Requirements
8. The QC Management shall be in accordance with the Employers Requirements.
