sound and that can be applied in the reader’s own life. Thus, literature is seen as
especially valuable because it is relevant to you as the reader.

When judging the relevance and worth of ideas in literature, it is essential


to:

 The first step is to note down important information from the
literature.
 This includes key concepts, themes, and arguments presented by
the author.
2. Gather evidence
 It is crucial to gather evidence to support the ideas presented in
the literature.
 Evidence can include quotes, examples, statistics, or research
findings.
3. Validate sources
 Always ensure that the sources cited in the literature are credible
and reliable.
 Check for the author's credentials, publication date, and peer
review status.
4. Compare information from other reliable sources
 Compare information from multiple reliable sources to gain a
comprehensive understanding.
 Look for consensus among sources to validate the reliability of
ideas presented in the literature.
5. Assess the organization and clarity of ideas
 Evaluate how well the ideas are organized and presented in the
literature.
 Clarity of expression and logical coherence are essential aspects
to consider.
