    To Whom It May Concern:

    Kendra Brenner worked in my first grade classroom as a student teacher during the fall of 2017. She
    worked in my classroom four days a week during the entire semester.

    Kendra has been a gift to my students and to me. She is intelligent, collaborative, kind, and patient. She is
    wise beyond her years. Kendra always has the best interest of students in mind as she is preparing and
    delivering lessons.

    During the course of the school year, Kendra worked successfully with students at varying levels of
    ability. She is patient with struggling learners, but also knows how to challenge more capable students.
    Kendra ran some of my literacy groups and has planned and taught lessons with ease.

    Several parent volunteers work in my room each week. Kendra’s interaction with our volunteers has
    always been positive. Parents have commented on Kendra’s warmth and professionalism.

    Kendra is a quick study and a hard worker. She is not afraid to ask questions in order to further develop
    her practice. She regularly requests feedback and makes adjustments in her teaching based on that
    feedback.

    Kendra is collaborative with her colleagues, adding valuable ideas and insight in our Professional
    Learning Community. She is a thinker and is always trying to find new and better ways to reach all
    learners. She is very professional and clearly understands the great impact of a teacher on students’ lives.
    She takes her education and her career seriously.

    Kendra would be a tremendous asset to any school community. I would recommend Kendra for any
    teaching position without reservation.
