Classification of angles
Zero angle

An angle that measure exactly 0 is called a

Zero angle .

Acute
An angle that
measures greater
angle

then 0 but less then 90 is called

an acute angle

Right
Anangle
angle that measure
exactly 90 , is called
right angle.

Obtuse
An angleangle
that measure greater

than 90 but less then 180 is called

obtuse angle.

Classification of
triangle
Triangle can be classified into different types based
on their sides and angle.
An acute-angled triangle is a triangle in which all

the three angle are acute, that less than 90.it is also
called an acute triangle.
An obtuse-angle triangle is a triangle in which one
angle is obtuse, that is greater than 90. it is also
called an obtuse triangle.
A right-angled triangle is triangle in which one
angle is right angle, that is, 90. it is also called right
triangle.

Definition of quadrilaterals
Parallelogram
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral whose opposite sides
are parallel.

Rectangle
A rectangle is a parallelogram whose interior angles are
right angles.

Square
A square is a rectangle whose sides are equal.

Rhombus
A rhombus is a parallelogram whose sides
are equal.

Trapezium
A trapezium is a quadrilateral which has just one pair
of parallel sides.

Kite
A kite is a quadrilateral which has two pairs of equal
adjacent sides, symmetrical only about one diagonal.
