Fiber-reinforced concrete(FRC)
FRC can be defined as a composite
material consisting of mixtures of cement
mortar or concrete and discontinuous,
discrete, uniformly dispersed suitable
fibres. Also it improves the static and
dynamic property of concrete.
Fibers include
Steel
Polypropylene
Nylons
Asbestos
Coir
Glass
carbon
Why FRC?
Plain concrete possess a
Very low tensile strength
Micro-cracks
Limited ductility
Little resistance to cracking

To get SCC
Advantages of SCC
SCC can be used for casting heavily
reinforcedsections.
Places where there can be no access to
vibratorsfor compaction
Complex shapes of formwork
It is far superior surface than
conventional concrete.
It is economical, so it is used in precast industry.

Frame
structuresare the
structures having the
combination of beam,
column and slab to
resist the lateral and
gravity loads. These
structures are usually
used to overcome the
large moments
developing due to the
applied loading.
Prefabricated Structure
Prefabricationis the method of

the structure is to be located.
