Assess Individuals, Families, Groups, Organizations,
and Communities
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.1
Collect and organize data, and apply critical thinking to interpret
information from clients and constituencies.

When discussing with the students, I will write notes. After the
discussion is complete, I will document all of the information that
was gathered. I will also collect and organize student paperwork
and files and use the information to write documents such as intake
studies and pre-placement assessments.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.2
Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment,
person-in-environment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical
frameworks in interventions with clients and constituencies.

After the data and information are collected, I will determine the
appropriate interventions based on the various theoretical
frameworks.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.3
Develop mutually agreed-on intervention goals and objectives
based on the critical assessment of strengths, needs, and
challenges within clients and constituencies.

Completing a case review will allow me to adequately assess the

students strengths, needs, and challenges, which will lead me to
establishing the intervention goals.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 7.4
Select appropriate intervention strategies based on the
assessment, research knowledge, and values and preferences of
clients and constituencies.

After the case review is completed and the intervention goals have
been established, I will be able to create an adequate action plan.
