MAIRONIS PARK
• The park was renovated in 2012.
• It‘s equipped with basketball and
children‘s playgrounds.
• Maironis park is one of the favourite
places for local people and tourists.
It‘s a great place to meet friends
and take a walk.
SCULPTURE OF VYTAUTAS DIDYSIS
• This is Raseiniai district Betygala
area. It is a monument of Vytautas
Didysis. It looks very majestic. It is in
city centre.
• In 1416 Vytautas allocated money
for the first church.

LYDUVĖNAI BRIDGE
• It is the longest (599 metres) and the
highest (42 metres) bridge in
Lithuania.
• A wooden bridge was build in 1916
by pioneers of the German army.
• The bridge is located across the
river Dubysa and its valley.
SCULPTURE OF ZEMAITIS
• This is the sculpture ,,Zemaitis‘‘. It
was built in 1933-1934.
• The author of the sculpture is Vincas
Grybas.
• It’s near the post office and
Raseiniai municipality.
RASEINIAI ORTHODOX CHURCH
OF HOLY TRINITY
• This is Orthodox Church.
• The church stands in Maironis Park.
• It was build in 1870.
SILUVA CHAPEL

• This is Raseiniai district Siluva village


chapel. It was build in 1663. You
can pray to God and donate
money for the renovation there.
• It’s only 18 kilometres from Raseiniai.
• The chapel‘s a beautiful place to
visit.
THE DUBYSA
• This is the Dubysa. This river has
about 40 tributaries and is the
longest river solely in Lithuania.
• The Dubysa is 146 km in length.
• However The Dubysa is the one of
the most polluted rivers in Lithuania.
THE MUSEUM OF ASTUONRATIS
• It’s in Nemaksciai.
• It’s a very old place.
• The Museum of the Eight-wheeled
Vehicle (Aštuonračio muziejukas) is a
private museum.
• You can see the first self-propelled
eight-wheeled vehicle and lots of
antique furniture, gramophones, radios.
