INTRODUCTION
 On the first day of summer internship we were
introduced to the company.
 About history, different departments, printing press and
how operations work at THE TIMES GROUP.
 By various presentations and lectures delivered by
different department heads of the office.
 We were introduced to our summer internship project
and scheme for the newspaper.
 Company assigned us the depot where we have to report
depot in charge.
PROJECT UNDERTAKEN
 On the first day of field work we have to report at 5 a.m. to
see that how depot processes.
 On regular field days we have to report at 7 a.m. at the
assigned depot.
 For the first few days the depot in charge accompanied us
for better understanding of our field work.
 We have to work in field for minimum 3-4 hours.
CONTINUE
 Our depot in charge provide us the address list for our field
work.
 After then we have to visit customers to collect the
information and make them aware about the scheme.
 At the end of the day we have to report back to our depot in
charge.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
 We explored and get to know about behavior of
customers.
 How to deal with different type of customers.
 Ability to apply knowledge and skills to real word.
 Ability to collect, process and analyze consumer data.
 Loyalty of Hindustan Times customer towards the brand.
 Customers were not that much price conscious.
CONCLUSION
 Enriching experience and good exposure to the market.
 Applying classroom knowledge in practical business
world.
 Customers were too loyal to Hindustan Times.
 Customers wants short term schemes.
 Also asked Hindi and English combo schemes.
 Lack of online payment portal.
 TOI need to come with innovative plans to overcome
short comings.
