FACADE WALL
• One of the many innovative
characteristics of the building is the
curtain wall design for the facade.
• Original facade wall design
• Building’s facade consists of series
of vertical bands of bricks, faced by
limestone alternating with vertical
bands of steel framed windows
with cast aluminium spandrel
panels.
• Continuous vertical stainless steel
mullions are anchored to the steel
spandrel beams.
• The brick back-up masonry fully
embeds the building’s steel The mullions are located between
columns and backs up the pairs of windows and at the edges of the
intermediate stainless steel limestone clad column piers
mullions.
