Reported for while passing NKDO points man
observed smoke coming from SC SLR 98723 next
to T.E
noticed coach no SC SLR 98723 Hand brake
slightly apply condition, Same released.
14.58 hrs Train left Spot.

14.12 hrs arrived GTL Power change. 1. Advised to Sr DOM/GTL lr

(Nakkanadoddi) Points men noticed Smoke
coming from front SLR.
At GTL shunting staff not released front SLR hand
brakes.

Observations
1. At RC ODS Loco Nos. 16474/11124 /GY .LP given
message that leading loco load meter not responding due
to power cut off indication. LP checked the loco with the
guidance of SSE/Dsl/GY. Air flow indicator shoot up & BP
is 4.7 kg/cm2 in loco. C&W staff released the formation.
2.ODS power detached at MRC and attached.
(12679/12630/ KZJ/ WDG4).At MRC LP unable to start the
formation. SSE/C&W/RC and CLI/RC While conducting air
brake failure test on trailing loco 12630 it is found that
loco air brakes is failed and the same was rectified.
3. At MALM once again power interception planed by
PRC/GTL 12679/12630/ KZJ/ WDG4 Locos were detached
and loco Nos11120, 16602 attached. Further no problem
noticed by LP on formation.It clearly indicates that due to
loco problems the formation was not releasing.
Action taken
•Detention was shown on C&W account .
•As per CRSE/SC message 19/8/48 dt 18.08.19 the
detention to be reclassified into Loco account.
•Lr.No.G/M/C&W/RS/8 dt: 19.08.19 the case has
been reclassified into Loco account.
