Good morning class,

today we will be
creating a gmail
account.
Teacher:
We will each grab an ipad from the cart
and we'll follow the steps together as a
class to create an account for future use.
student : will we be able to use these
accounts in the future?
Teacher: Yes, you can make use of these
accounts in the future, sending emails or
receiving them, creating documents and
saving them, a wonderful software to
practice typing our essays in class.
Teacher: Let’s get started!
Teacher: First we will open internet
explorer and go to gmail.com and if you
don’t already have a gmail account it will
ask you to make one.
Teacher: Next off….
Student: Mrs…. I can’t seem to find the
website.
Teacher: It’s okay alex, I will assist you, so
it seems that you typed gmail wrong that’s
why. Now you will click create account on
the top right red corner since you don’t
have an account with them.
Teacher: alright class let’s continue the
next step. You will enter your first and last
name and create your username.
Student: Any username?
Teacher : yes as long as it is appropriate
and something that you will memorize

Teacher: next off, after you fill in your full
name and username you will complete the
next step which is creating a password, I
will allow you guys 7 min to come up with
one and complete this step.
Teacher: alright let’s move on, anyone have any
questions ?
Students: no, thank you
Teacher : okay now the next step is going to ask you
a form of recovery of your account, there are two
options which are giving a phone number or giving an
existing email and you guys will provide an existing
one using mine that is written on the board. Any
questions or concern raise your hand and I will be
with you.
Teacher: then it will ask you for your
gender and age and you will provide that
also , after that i will receive an email
verifying all of your accounts.
Teacher: you will then read and agree to
the terms as the last step and you will
have your account all set.
Student: When will we start using this in
class
Teacher: starting next week, we will start
typing short responses on this software
and we will experience more with gmail
and its resources.
