Adverbial Clause
Is a dependent clause that function as an adverb and give the information
about verb, adjective or even the adverb on the Independent Clause.
Adverbial clause must begin with subordinate conjunction to connect with Independent clause:
-When
-After
-Because
-In order that, and so on

- Verb: were sleeping
- Subordinate Conjunction: when
Give information about Her face looks fresh because she always sleeps enough.

Give information about He drove fast in order that he could arrive on time.

- Adverb: fast
- Subordinate conjunction: in order that
The Position of Adverbial Clause
Adverbial clause can be put on the first sentence, give the comma then follows with
independent clause.
example: because I have nothing to say, I can’t start a conversation.
In the opposite, if independent clause put on the first sentence, then follows with adverbial
clause withouting using comma.
example: I can’t start a conversation because I have nothing to say.
