ANATOMY OF PHYSIOLOGY OF
URBAN SYSTEM

BY: BAGAS TRIO ERMANSYAH

Definition of Urinary System

Urinary system is a system in which the

blood filtering process occurs so that the
blood is free of substances that are not used
by the body and absorbs substances that are
still used by the body. Substances that are no
longer used by the body dissolve in water and
are excreted in the form of urine (urine).
Anatomy of the Urinary System

A. Kidney (Ren)
The kidneys are located in the posterior abdominal
wall behind the peritoneum on both sides of the 12th thoracic
vertebrae to the 3rd lumbar vertebra.
Kidney function:
1. Holds an important role in the expenditure of toxic
substances or poisons.
2. Maintaining an atmosphere of fluid, osmotic and ion
balance.
3. Maintaining the balance of acid and base levels of body
fluids.
Kidney structure

Each kidney is covered in a thin membrane

called the fibrous capsule, there is a renal cortex on
the outside, which is dark brown, and the inner renal
medulla is lighter brown than the cortex.
The nephron consists of :
1. Glomerolus
2. Bowman capsule
3. Tubules
4. Collecting duct
Ureter

The urethra is partly located in the

abdominal cavity and partly located in the
pelvic cavity. The ureteric wall layer consists
of:
1. Outer wall of connective tissue (fibrous
tissue)
2. Middle layer of smooth muscle layer.
3. Inner layer of the mucosal layer.
Vesika urinary (bladder)

Urinary Vesika can inflate and deflate

like a rubber balloon.Bladder wall consists of:
1. The outer layer (peritoneum).
2. Muscularis tunica (muscular layer).
3. Submucosal Tunica.
4. Mucous layer (inner layer).
Urethra

Is a narrow channel that originates in the

bladder which functions to channel urine out.
In men the length is approximately, consisting
of:
1. Urethra pars Prostatica.
2. Urethra pars membranosa (there is a
urethra externa spinchter).
3. Urethra pars spongiosa.
Urine

Physical properties of urine, consisting of:

The amount of excretion in 24 hours ± 1,500 cc
depends on the intake (intake) of fluid and other
factors.
1. Color, clear light yellow and if left unchecked it will
become turbid.
2. Color, yellow depending on thickness, diet drugs
and so on.
3. Odor, the special odor of urine when left unchecked
will smell of ammonia.
Urinary composition, consisting of:

1. Urine consists of about 95% water.

2. Nitrogen waste from protein metabolism,
urea ammonia acid , electrolyte, sodium,
calcium, NH3, bicarbonate, phosphate and
sulfate.
3. Pigmen (bilirubin and urobilin).
