INTRODUCTION
• First of all, we would like to thanks to our Physics tutor, Miss Chew and our
fellow classmates for guiding us in completing this project.

• Based on what we learned, Projectile Motion is defined as a motion where

obeject travels at a uniform velocity in the horizontal direction; at the same
time undergoing acceleration in the downward direction under the influence
of gravity. For example, the glider uses this motion in order to fly.

• A glider is a type of aircraft used in the sport of gliding. Glider is

aerodynamically streamlined and is capable of gaining altitude when flown in
rising air.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

• As we all know, nobody is perfect in this world. This is

because there are always problem happened during
doing any activity. Thus, here are the problems that we go
through during preparations of glider:

• 1)Weak body structure of glider

• 2)Lack of knowledge about glider
• 3)Less cooperation in teamwork
PLANNING OF THE PROJECT

• After some discussions to built the glider. We decide to

look for some materials that we need. We spent some of
our time to find the important material that we need to
build the glider. Such as staws, plastic bags , cellophane
tape and sticks.
LIST OF MATERIAL USED AND COST

• Here are some of the material that we use and cost of

those material

• 1. 1 packet of straw RM1.00

• 2. 2 rubbish plastic bags RM0.20
• 3.Cellophane tape RM0.80

• Total cost : RM2.00

DESIGN PROCESS
• It took a whole day for us to figure out a suitable design that looks
different from a normal design.We want a noble or own made
design glider.Basiclly our design just look like a normal design
glider but we reconstruct it and make few change to it.

• 1.Firstly, tape and joint all the straws to build the glider body.
• 2.Then, we put the glider body on the plastic bag and cut the
plastic according to the form of the glider.
• 3.Tape the plastic to the gider body
DISCUSSION

• In order to overcome these problems, the effective ways and

project plan should be taken so that a perfect glider can be
created.Thus,here are some action that we take to overcome the
problem :

• 1.Weak body structure of glider : we add more straw and stick it

together to make the structure stronger.
• 2.Lack of knowledge about glider : we watch some of glider video
in youtube and do some reading on how glider work and fly.
• 3.Less cooperation in teamwork : we gather and do a ice break
session to build up our teamworks.
FUNCTION AND OPERATION
• Here are function and how it operate to make the glider works.

• Straw : Bone to the glider,to make shape of the glider.

• Plastic bag : Cover up all the straw structure. It is wing to the

glider.

• Cellophane tape : We use it to stick and joint from straw to straw.

CONCLUSION

• Theoritically, our glider fly just like normal glider, but it

need some improvement to make it better.
