Magnetization

When Magnetic field is applied a net magnetic dipoles occurs and the
material become magnetized .
The state of magnetic polarization of material is described by a
parameter M which is called the Magnetization of material.

and is defined as :
𝑀 = 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑛𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝐷𝑖𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑟 𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡 𝑉𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑚

m
r Suppose we have a piece of magnetized
vector potential.

A single dipole of mass m has Vector

potential:
𝝁𝒐 𝑟Ƹ
𝐴 𝒓 = 𝒎 × 2
𝟒𝝅 𝑟
In the magnetized object each volume element carries a dipole
moment so total vector potential is:
𝑀(𝑟)ƴ × 𝑟Ƹ
𝐴 𝒓 =න 𝑑 ሖ
𝑇
