RESEARCH AGENDUM:

Reading Comprehension and

Mathematical Skills of the Students
RESEARCH PROBLEM/RESEARCHERS
INTEREST
1. There
are lot of students who are having line of 7 in
Mathematics.
2. The researcher are thinking if the Level of Reading
Comprehension is one of the reason why there are failing
grades.
3. The researcher are interested to know the Level of Reading
Comprehension and how it affect the Mathematical Success.
THESIS STATEMENT

•This study will be conducted to explain

the INFLUENCE of the Level of Reading
Comprehension towards the
Mathematical Success of the Students.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
This study will be conducted to Explain the Influence of the Level of Reading
Comprehension towards the Mathematical Success of the Students.
Specifically, it will seek to answer the following questions:
1. What is the Level of Reading Comprehension of the students?
2. What is the Mathematical success of the students?
3. What is the relationship between the Level of Reading Comprehension and the
Mathematical Success of the student?
4. Is there significant relationship between the Level of Reading Comprehension
and the Mathematical Success of the student?
5. How does the Level of Reading Comprehension influence the Mathematical
Success of the students?
RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS:

Pertaining to the questions of the study, the

hypothesis was put into test using .05 level of
significance:
Ho: There is no significant relationship between
the Level of Reading Comprehension and the
Mathematical Success of the students.
RESEARCH ASSUMPTIONS:

The researcher assumes the following:

1. The Level of Reading Comprehension influences
Mathematical Success of the students
2. Those students with high Level of Reading
Comprehension are more capable in acquiring
Mathematical Success.
3. Those students with low Level of Reading
Comprehension are less capable in acquiring Mathematical
Success.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION:
The explanation of the influence of Level of
Reading Comprehension and Mathematical
Success of the students.
Explanatory Sequential Mixed Methods Designs:
QUANTITATIVE Approach: Correlational Study
Qualitative Approach: Case Study
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The result of this study titled “Explaining the Influence of the
Level of the Reading Comprehension towards the
Mathematical Success of students will be a great beneficial to
the following:
