ABSTRACT
Electricity theft can be in the form of fraud (meter
tampering), stealing (illegal connections), billing
irregularities, and unpaid bills. Electricity theft can
be reduced by applying technical solutions such as
tamper-proof meters, managerial method such as
inspection and monitoring, and in some cases
restructuring power systems ownership and
regulation.

CONCLUSION
• Electricity is the most basic need of our life. If
electricity is exist then we live in a country in
peaceful manner. If the government could
control the theft of electricity and take action
for the corrupt people who are stealing
electricity in different ways then the
government increase their revenue and
national income.
RECOMMENDATONS
• Installation of low cost new energy generation
plants is very necessary (low cost plant
includes solar energy and wind energy system.
• Theft of electricity can be decreased by
making new and harder laws.
• Energy saver appliance should be introduced
in the country (Karachi).
