Author-date system of citation. This
means that the last name of the Author
and the Date of publication of the work
must appear in the text.

1. Work by a Single Author
The last name of the author and date the
year of publications be placed in the text.
a) if the name is stated in front of the
sentence, it should look like this
(e.g.)
Santos (2014) asserted that education
alleviates poverty.

b) If it is in the last part of the
sentence, it will look like this,
(e.g.)
……..education alleviates poverty
(Santos, 2014)
