1. Every team discuss and completed the


problems given.
2. Each team will put the completed assignment
on the table.
3. After 11 minutes, each team will move to the
other table to review other team works.

ELABORATE
A man with a tumor in his pancreas had a
surgery to remove the pancreas.
• a.        Explain the effect on the process of
digestion.
• b.       What happen if the tumor is not
removed?
a. Removing the pancreas can reduce the body’s
ability to absorb nutrients from food. Pancreas
makes substances that control your blood sugar
and help your body digest foods. After surgery,
the man has to take medicines to handle these
functions.
b. If left untreated, pancreatitis can
cause kidney failure, trouble
breathing, digestion issues, diabetes,
and abdominal pain.
