Changing of pronouns in active to passive voice:

Rules to change active to passive voice:
Subject change into the place of object.
Object change into the place of subject.
Verb changes in 3rd form of the verb .
Usage of “By” after the 3rd form of the verb.
In progressive tenses we use “being” before the 3rd form of the
verb .

NOTE:
We cannot convert “Present Perfect
Continuous, Past Perfect Continuous, Future
Perfect Continuous & Future Continuous”
from Active voice to Passive voice.
Imperative Sentences:

“An imperative sentence give us commands.


Commands ask or tell people
to do something.”
OR
“Sentences which express request , order, advice,
suggestion, prohibition etc.”
 Formula of Imperative Sentences:
Let + obj +be +past perfect.

 When the active voice begins with do not, the


passive voice has following structure.
let not + obj + be + past perfect.

Note: Always remove “Please & kind” if they


are given in sentences.
Examples:
Active: Bring it home.
Passive: let it be brought home.
Active: Post the letter at once.
Passive: Let the letter be posted at once.
Active: Let him help his brother.
Passive: Let his brother be helped by him.
Active: Please do me a favor tonight.
Passive: You are requested to do me a favor
tonight.
Active: Get out of my house.
Passive: You are ordered to get out of my
house.
Active: Kindly do not smoke in public place.
Passive: You are requested not to smoke in
pubic place.
