PROJECT SUMMARY
The main goal of this project is the construction of the water treatment
plant and wastewater treatment plant for SIDERIDRAULIC System,
denominated “PTAR PAQUETE 2”, located in carretera Pesquería KM 15,
Pesquería, Nuevo León, México.
The scope is the development and integration of an EPC project
(Engineering-Procurement-Construction), including design services, site
development, utility infrastructure development and construction of
facilities capable of supporting light assembly manufacturing processes.
 LAND RECEPTION
Given the peculiarity of the area, because of the structural challenges
and the intrinsic services of production processes, works will be
executed from the receipt date of the land from the owner’s
representative. Said date must be formally agreed between both parts,
owner and contractor.
Given the preponderance of the topographical references for the
proper receipt of the land, this information shall be proportioned in
form of land surveys reports, in order to be cross-checked at any time
during the construction process. This is according the contractor’s
procedures of topography quality assessment.
EXECUTION METHODOLOGY
After an exhaustive analysis of the request for proposal for the bidding
proposal; including all documents attached (layouts, technical
specifications and complementary information), Constructora Chufani’s
team elaborated the execution plan presented according the Lean
Construction methodology, which includes the following tasks.
ENGINEERING:
The construction layouts will be elaborated. Then, after a thorough
appraisal on site, the Fast track engineering will be obtained, in order to
optimize the execution time.
PROCUREMENT:
Subcontractors, purchases and acquisitions will be assigned according the
list of qualified providers that fulfill the specifications and standards of
quality, time and cost needed for this project.
CONSTRUCTION:
At this point, execution strategies and plan of attack will be presented, in
order to fulfill the project’s scope, according to Technical Specifications
and Approved Construction Layouts and ruled by the highest standards of
quality, occupational health and safety and environmental management
for the project.

According to the established schedule time and LEAN CONSTRUCTION
methodology, Constructora Chufani established a General Attack Plan.

The project has five main Takts, enlisted below:

• WATER TREATMENT PLANT BUILDING

• RAW WATER AREA

• WTP STORAGE AREA
• WTP TRATMENT AREA
TAKT 5
This areas include steel and concrete tanks, metalic structure, concrete basement TAKT 2
for equipment and
  gravel and concrete floors. TAKT 3
The building process was analized according to the complexity that every building
demands and considering the priority areas needed by electromechanical erection
(Technological Packages, equipments and process interconections). The activities
were ordered and sequenced constructively, generating enough area so all
programated tasks could be developed in an organized, with this, the activities will
be overlapped getting to a point in which many activities will be executed
simultaneously acording to the Schedule time.

During the main activities of the project, there will be secundary and
complementary activities which will be executed in parallel allowing the sequence of
the main activities wont be affected compromising the delivery date for the project.
