How did we change smaller units to larger unit?

When you change a larger unit to a smaller unit you multiply.

 Minute to second x 60
 Hour to minute x 60
 Hour to second x 3600
 Day to hour x 24
 Day to minutes x 1440
When you change a smaller unit to a larger
unit you divide.

 Second to minute ÷ 60
 Minute to hour ÷ 60
 Second to hour ÷ 3600
 Hour to day ÷ 24
 Minutes to day ÷ 1440

When you change a smaller unit to a larger unit, you divide.
Examples:
120 seconds = 2 minutes 120÷60=2
120 minutes = 2 hours 120÷ 60=2
72 hours = 3 days 72÷ 24=3
When you change a larger unit to a smaller
unit, you multiply.

Examples:

5 minutes = 300 seconds 5x60=300

5 hours = 300 minutes 5x60=300
