Let the student name some warning signs
that they could see outside their room, on
the street and in the workplace and asked
them what the meaning is and importance
of those warning signs.

Hazards- a term used to describe
something that has the potential to cause
harm.
A hazard is any source of potential
damage, harm or adverse effects on
properties or someone’s health under
certain conditions at workplace.

Risks- a measure of the possibility
of a specific harmful effect in given
circumstances.

experience an adverse health effect
if exposed to a hazard.

- powered tools and hand tools
- slips, trips and falls
- confined spaces
