• Due to the same flag state registration and Union representation the
ships will now be placed under management of Celebrity Cruises.

Addendum to their existing contract that acknowledges their new

Frequently Asked Questions
– All Employees
Where will our ships go now?
It is likely that the ships will make their way to be berthed in the
Mediterranean where they will be prepared for a cold layup (not in
operation) status.

Can I transfer to one of the other brands?

Currently, we are unable to commit to transferring Pullmantur crew
members to one of our other brands. However, there may be instances
where specific skills and experience are needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
– Employees on Working Status
Will I get a new contract?
Crew members currently in “working status” will be issued an addendum to their existing contract indicating a
new employer, Celebrity Cruises.

What will happen to my pay/compensation?

Your contract will have the same terms and conditions as your current contract. The only difference is that your
addendum will reflect Celebrity Cruises as your employer.

How long will it take my ship to get to the berthing location?

Final decisions on a location have not yet been made so we are unable to confirm at this time how long the
transition will take. We are committed to keeping you informed and will share more information as soon as we
are able.

When will I sign off to go home? Will I sign off as soon as my ship gets to the berthing location?
Crew in “working status” will continue to deliver on their current duties. Vacation relief planning will continue
but the current travel restrictions make that challenging. Given the complexities of this situation, specific dates
cannot be provided at this time. We are committed to keeping you informed and will share more information as
soon as we are able. 7
Frequently Asked Questions
– Employees on Non-Working Status
Will I get a contract addendum?
Crew members that are not currently working will not be issued an addendum at this time as there is not a need for
them to work onboard currently.

Will all crew remain onboard until our ships reach the berth?
All Pullmantur crew will be integrated into the broader RCCL efforts to repatriate our crew. We are working diligently
to return you safely home as quickly as possible. We do not intend for you to remain onboard any longer than is
necessary.

When will I sign off to go home?

All Pullmantur crew will be integrated into the broader RCCL efforts to repatriate our crew. We are working diligently
to return you safely home as quickly as possible. Given the complexities, specific dates cannot be provided at this
time.

Is there a chance that I will be asked to return to work?
Given the uncertainty of the cruising industry there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration. Given
the dynamic circumstances in the tourism sector as a whole the staffing needs of the future are not yet clear. Given
that RCCL has been providing manning services to PUL they have all the employee service information and will use the
talent pool as needs present. But at this time it is too early to understand the timeline. 8
