Our guidelines
Part of creating unforgettable holiday happiness is ensuring our Guests have a consistently good
experience while on board our ships. Our codes of conduct, policies and procedures help us to make
the right decisions and keep our people and Guests safe and well. You’ll find copies on board, plus
Carnival UK has sent you the ones that most apply to you and your role. Please take a few minutes to
read them carefully and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
We’ve also enclosed a copy of your terms and conditions of employment for you to review. It’s
important you understand these and are able to comply with them.
Once you’ve read and understood the details in this letter and the Carnival UK policies and terms and
conditions of employment, please sign and return the declaration on the enclosed duplicate of this
letter and return it to the P&O Onboarding Team.
This offer of employment is open for 14 calendar days, after which it’ll expire without further
notice.
Please complete these documents and return them to the P&O Onboarding Team.
Uniforms
Our uniforms help create a sense of belonging among the ship’s company – a feeling that you’re part
of a much bigger team all passionately working towards one goal: creating unforgettable holiday
happiness for our Guests.
They’re designed to be practical for your job role, to present a professional image of the work you do
on board and to reinforce Carnival UK’s position as a leading cruise line.
Once you’ve accepted this offer of employment and have completed and returned all the documents
referred to in this letter, we’ll then confirm the date you’ll join one of our ships.
We want to get you on board as soon as possible, however, if a position isn’t immediately available
there may be a delay in confirming a start date. We recommend you don’t make any firm
commitments (e.g. resignation from your employer if you are currently working) about your future until
we contact you with a start date.
If you have any queries about this letter (or the enclosed documents), please contact the P&O
Onboarding Team
Finally, for easy reference, attached to this email is a checklist of all the items that require your action.
If your gender identity doesn’t match your sex as per your passport and you’d like us to know that,
then please email Heaven.white@pocruises.com. This will help us to make sure that we respect your
gender identity when you’re onboard.
Yours sincerely
For and on behalf of
