Selecting “Get the Windows app” will download the app on your computer or mobile device.
Selecting “Use the web app instead” will open a new browser.
Download and login to MS Teams
FOR MOBILE DEVICES
Go to app store.
Search for “Microsoft Teams”
Download the app.
Sign-in with your school email and password.
Class or Teams
Once logged-in, you will be directed to the “Teams” page.
Every class will have individual “Teams”.
Click on your class.

Default channel is “General”.
Each channel have different tabs: Posts, Files, Class Notebook, etc.

IMPORTANT: Create and save materials using MS Web. Do not select “Upload” then select file from your local computer.

How to create and save resources using desktop.
Click “New”.
No need to save your work. It is always on auto-save. When you are

If you tap on the folder icon, it will open on your recent folders. Select the folder and file.
Select the file type. When done, select “…”. Type the file name. Select the folder
destination.
Click “Save”.
Channels
Channels are dedicated to specific week or topics. It helps organize the class modules and group projects.
Tabs on the added channel are different from “General”.

Assignments
Assignment instructions and points will be shown.

You will be asked to either upload, add new, or add link. Select appropriate.
Click “Turn in” or “Hand in” when you are ready to submit your assignment.
You can always “Undo turn in” if you want to make revisions, if the due date has not yet passed.
Calendar
Check your calendar regularly to keep up to date on upcoming class meetings.

Start meeting for desktop:
Open the meeting. Click “Join Now”. Make sure that video and audio are turned on.
Go to “Details” tab.
Click “Join”

There are several tools you can use during the meeting.
Use this to engage students to participate. Students can use this to answer your questions.
It may take a while to see the recording on the Post tab, especially if the recording was long.
Check “Include system audio” (just in case you want to share a video from your desktop).
Start drawing.

Share application for mobile:
Share PowerPoint: List of PowerPoint files saved under General and channel.
If you choose “Share screen”, a prompt will show saying that everything on your screen will be shared.
