    U-Values
    • U-Value refers to how well building materials conduct heat.
    • U-Value = W/m2K
    • W= Watt is a unit of power, defined as one Joule per second.
    • M2=metres squared
    • K= Kelvin is a temperature scale.
    Why we need good U-Values
    • Heating is very expensive so we want to keep the heat inside
    the building.
    • When the warmth escapes, cold air must be heated again
    costing us more money.
