Coca Cola
Coca Cola
Our vision is to develop brands and drinks that people like to refresh
their bodies and minds. And to build a more sustainable business
and a better common future to change the lives of people,
communities and our planet.
In 1886 the pharmacist John Pemberton invented this
drink as a morphine addiction treatment and presented it
to a large Coca-Cola pharmacy: consisting of water,
sugar, caffeine, extracts of coca leaves and cola nuts,
where the drink was sold for 5 cents a glass. In 1888,
Pemberton died in poverty and the rights were bought
from his widow by entrepreneur Eisa Candler for $2300,
who in 1892 registered the company under the name
Coca-Cola Company and in ten years created the national
Coca-Cola brand with 50 employees. In 1899, the first
enterprise to produce this drink was established as a
franchise.
The company owns 5 of the 6 best-selling world brands of soft drinks - Coca-Cola,
