The Coca-Cola Company is an American food company, the world's
largest producer and supplier of concentrates, syrups and soft drinks.
The company's most famous product is the drink Coca-Cola. It is
included in the Fortune 500 list by the end of 2020 (88th place). Its
headquarters are located in the capital of Georgia, Atlanta.
Coca-Cola's chief marketing officer Marcos de Quinto, recently
changed their tagline to 'Taste the Feeling' this year after 7-year-old
slogan “Open Happiness”.

Our vision is to develop brands and drinks that people like to refresh
their bodies and minds. And to build a more sustainable business
and a better common future to change the lives of people,
communities and our planet.
In 1886 the pharmacist John Pemberton invented this
drink as a morphine addiction treatment and presented it
to a large Coca-Cola pharmacy: consisting of water,
sugar, caffeine, extracts of coca leaves and cola nuts,
where the drink was sold for 5 cents a glass. In 1888,
Pemberton died in poverty and the rights were bought
from his widow by entrepreneur Eisa Candler for $2300,
who in 1892 registered the company under the name
Coca-Cola Company and in ten years created the national
Coca-Cola brand with 50 employees. In 1899, the first
enterprise to produce this drink was established as a
franchise.
The company owns 5 of the 6 best-selling world brands of soft drinks - Coca-Cola,
Diet Coke, Fanta, Schweppes and Sprite.

Coca-Cola's net profit for the first
quarter of 2019 increased 23% to
$1.68 billion, compared to $1.37
billion a year earlier. Revenue rose
5 percent to $8.02 billion. A year
ago, three months ago, the beverage
producer's revenue was $7.63
billion, up 4 percent year on year.
The Coca-Cola Company's top competitors include Keurig Dr Pepper,
Tropicana Products, PepsiCo, Britvic, Red Bull, Fever-Tree and Monster
Beverage.
Since 1974 The Coca-Cola Company has been an official partner of FIFA, and since 1978 it has been the
official sponsor of the World Cup. In 2006, on the company's initiative, the original FIFA World Cup went on
the first round-the-world trip "Trophy Tour".

Since 1992, The Coca-Cola Company has been one of the organizers and sponsors of the Olympic Torch
Relay.
