is located at the northernmost
part of the Philippines. This
island is very mountainous.
Mouth Pulag
 Mount Pulag is Luzon’s highest peak at 2,928
metres above sea level. It is also a dormant
volcano. The borders between the provinces of
Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya meet at the
mountain's peak. It is the third highest mountain
in the Philippines, next to Mount Apo and
Mount Dulang-dulang.
Mouth Banahaw
 Mount Banahaw is a potentially active
volcano on Luzon in the Philippines. The
three-peaked volcano complex is located at
the boundary of Laguna and Quezon
provinces. It is the highest mountain in the
Calabarzon region, dominating the landscape
for miles around.
Mount Pinatubo
 Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano in
the Zambales Mountains, located on the
tripoint boundary of the Philippine provinces
of Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga, all in
Central Luzon on the northern island of
Luzon.
 These tribes are skilled and have
built most of their traditions
around the mountainous areas of
Luzon. The Banaue Rice Terraces
is one of the famous landmarks in
Luzon. It is crafted by te Ifugaos
for their farming and for
preventing the mountain from
erosion. It is regarded as the “Eight
Wonder of the World”
