Drug abuse or substance abuse refers to the use of certain chemicals for the purpose
of creating pleasurable effects on the brain. There are over 190 million drug users
around the world and the problem has been increasing at alarming rates, especially
among young adults under the age of 30. Apart from the long term damage to the
body drug abuse causes, drug addicts who use needles are also at risk of contracting
HIV and hepatitis B and C infections.
It is easy to start habitually but too difficult to give up. It harms the users and
becomes an intense need in the days ahead. It has never been good to anybody.
People started ones can not have safe end of life. They either have to continue taking
it. Health hazards like depression, Brain damage, cancer of different organs, Hepatitis,
liver, cirrhosis, damage of nerves, stomach ulcers are other results of drug abuse.

Because of drugs crime's and quarrels are increase in the family and society. The
income of family is misused for drugs and treatment of abusers. Nation will loose
active human resource which could be used for building the nation.
