And (remember) when your Lord said to the Angels;”
Verily I am placing in the Earth a Khalifah Vice-regent
...‫وهوالذي جعلكم خالئف األزض ورفع بعضكم فوق بعض درجات ليبلوكم في ما آتاكم‬
١٦٠ ‫األنعام‬
And it is He (Allah) who has made you vicegerents / successors of the
earth,
and raised some of you above others to test you in that which He has
given you

Indeed the world is luscious and green,
and verily Allah has conferred upon you stewardship therein.
He then observes how you act (therein)

١٠ ‫و لقد مكناكم في الرض و جعلنا لكم فيها معايش قليالً ما تشكرون األعراف‬
And We have established you in the Earth and provided for you
therein livelihoods, indeed little is your thankfulness!

٧ ‫إلن شكرتم ألزيدنكم و إلن كفرتم إن عذابي لشديد ابرا ِهيم‬

Verily if you are grateful I will increase (My bounties to) you
And if you are thankless, indeed My chastisement is severe!

And they were thankless of Allah’s Bounties, so He clothed them in the cloak of
Hunger and Fear as a result of their actions
٥٨ ‫إن هللا يأمركم أن تؤدوا األمانات إلى أهلها النساء‬
Verily Allah commands you to deliver the Trusts to their Owners
٢٨٤ ‫هلل ما في السموات و ما في االرض البقرة‬
To Allah belongs all that is in the Sky and what is in the Earth

‫ان اول ما يسال العبد عنه يوم القيامة من الن ِعيم ان يقال له‬
‫ و نرويك من الماء البارد الترمذي‬،‫ا لم نصح لك جسمك‬
The first thing the slave will be asked about on the Day of Judgment
regarding the Amenities (he enjoyed in the world) is that it will be
said:
Did We not grant Health to your Body,
and quench your thirst with Cold Water?

Did you not see how Allah set forth a parable:

A Goodly Word like a Goodly Tree

‫ما من مسلم يغرس غرسا او يزرع زرعا فيأكل منه طيرأوانسان او بهيمة اال كان له به‬
‫صدقة مسلم‬
Never does a Muslim Plant a Tree or Crop, from which a bird or
person or animal eats therefrom, except it is credited as Charity for
him!
‫أحمد إذا قامت الساعة و في يد أحدكم فسيلة فليغرسها‬
If the Hour (Qiyamah) begins and in the hand of any of you is a
sapling (Tree) plant it!*
