LEARNING RESOURCES
(LRs)
For many people, the words educational materials
invoke images of large, print, classroom textbooks
with small type, outdated information, and content
that covers the scope but not depth of a subject. But
LEARNING RESOURCES are more than that.
LEARNING RESOURCES
EXAMPLES: (LRs)
 Textbooks (print and digital)
 Workbooks
 Worksheets
 Manipulative (Blocks, Beads, Objects, etc)
 Flashcards

MANIPULATIVE
An object which is designed so that the learner can
perceive some mathematical concept by manipulating
it.
Examples: Interlocking Multilink Cubes
A Polydron Icosahedron

what’s just simply a tittle-tattle. As such at a young age, our
learners must be taught how to express their ideas based on Activity 1: PROS & CONS T-CHART
a well-founded knowledge on both sides of the issue.
Concept Development
______________________________________________
This activity sheet will then focus on how the learners
may develop a skill to persuade an audience or readers.  PROS CONS
Through the activities presented, the learners will learn to
take one side of the argument and induce readers to
support the same claim. The learners will have a clear
understanding of how to present one side of an arguable
opinion about an issue by writing a position paper.
EDUCATIONAL GAME

for the purpose of education, or those entertainment
games that have incidental or educational values (to
expand subject/topic concepts, reinforce
