    ABSTRACT :
    • ELCB is basically an electrical wiring device that disconnect the circuit
    whenever there is leakage of current flow through human body.
    • There are 2 types of ELCB
    1.Voltage operated ELCB
    2.Current operated ELCB
    • In voltage operated ELCB,If in case short leakage current occurs in the
    earth.The same leakage current passing through the because of the parallel
    connection.Then relay will be operates signal to the circuit breaker and the trip
    the circuit
    • In current operated ELCB,under fault condition there is difference in to mmf so
    the result flux exists and trip coil energised
