FORCE

Effects of force on the shape, size and


movements of an objects
FORCE is a push or pull, which occurs
when two or more objects interact with
each other.

The shape of an object may change when


force is applied on it. Pushing, pounding,
compressing, bending, twisting, stretching
or squeezing are some ways of changing
the shape of an object.
What I did to change the shape of the materials?
1. Chocolate bar
2. Plastic drinking glass
3. Foil paper
4. Bottle cap
5. Cup cake
6. eggshell
When force is applied to an object, the
size of an object may change.

Some situations where force is applied


and changed the size of the following:
1.Dropping a flower vase
2.Pounding styrofoam cup
3.Cutting a piece of cardboard
4.Sharpening a pencil
5. Grinding a rice grains
The force applied to an object affect the
movement of an object.
Example:
1. Push and Go- the toy car travelled
farther when the force applied was
stronger. It travelled nearer when
lesser force was applied to it.
2. Hang and Pull- The spring was pulled
down when the material was hung to
it. The is pulled as more materials are
hanged into it.
