 He researched on the production of ethyl ester


fuels from the sugarcane and coconuts and
devised a method for extracting residual coconut
oil by chemical process rather than a physical
process

 Narciso Mosuela of the Filipino province of La
Union invented it and received the Best Design
Award from the Food and Agricultural
Organization (FAO) in1987.
 Among the substances that can power the
Superkalan are wood, paper, dried dung and
leaves, corncubs and coco shells.
 He also invented a functional rice thresher

 The SUPERKALAN is a stove that can e


powered by any substance that burns
ROLANDO DELA CRUZ
 Multi-awarded Filipino scientist and inventor who
developed an indigenous formula that could easily
remove deeply grown moles or warts from the
skin without leaving marks or hurting the patient

 His formula was extracted from cashew nut


(Annacardium iccidentale), which is common in
the Philippines and locally known as “kasoy”
