TYPES OF BUSINESS
(PARTNERSHIP)

We choose Limited Partnership as the type of business organization. A

limited partnership exists when two or more partners unite to jointly conduct
a business in which one or more of the partners is liable only to the extent of
the amount of money that partner has invested. It includes both general
partners and limited partners.
Profits and losses shall be distributed in conformity with the stipulation
in the agreement (such as that agreed upon in the Articles of Partnership). In
case the partners agreed merely on the share / distributions of profits, it is
understood that losses shall be in the same proportion.
25
A General Partner has unlimited liability and is characterized as one of the
primary owners of the resort, responsible for participating in management
decisions as well as all legal and financial obligations of the company.
A limited partner has limited liability and is typically an investor who
has provided capital in exchange for a shared interest in the business. The
partners generally cannot participate in the management or day – to – day
operation of the partnership; he must have limited role to enjoy limited
liability.

26
The proponents are student from Colegio de Sta. Teresa de
Avila of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism
Management. Jonna Mae Papa, who owned the land area
followed by Michael Asingua, Mary Jane Garcia, are the general
partners while Ivan Jay Jallorina and Ivan Labarigo are the

A. TYPES OF BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

Cottages and Huts - We choose cottages and

huts for our accommodation because commonly in a
beach resort they are using cottages as their
accommodation. Plus, for those people who want to feel
the fresh air and the smell of the ocean in the morning,
nipa is the best accommodation to stay in. In case of bad
weather, our cottages with high quality is best for
staying.
