Making of Pakistan
• Two Nation Theory:
wo Nation Theory means two different nations are living in the subcontinent and they are Hindus and Muslims. Their way of life,
language, customs, Hero’s, culture, way of worship everything are different from the Hindus. This theory was given by
Sir Syed Ahmed khan in the decade of 1860’s.
. • The Revivalist movement
The movements which were started by the religious leaders in the subcontinent
are called revivalist movements. Shah Waliullah, Haji Shariatullah and Syed Ahmed Shaheed were the leading scholars
who led these movements.
• Main objectives of Shah Walliullah movement.
Shah Walliullah started his movement after the death of Aurangzeb Alamgir in 1707.
Following are the main objectives of this movement.

Revival of Islam Teachings:
• Main Aims and Objectives of the Formation of Muslim League.
Muslim League was established in 1906. The concept of the first political party was given by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
Following were the main objective of the formation of Muslim League.
1. To establish good friendly relations between British and the Muslims.
2. To coordinate with other Nations.
3. Provision of A platform to the Muslims
4. To protect the rights of the Muslims
Iqbal’s Allahabad Address 1930:
Allama Iqbal gave the idea of a separate homeland in the annual meeting of Muslim league held at Allahabad in 1930. He first time demanded
a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia.
He said future of Muslim state will be in Punjab, N.W.F.P (Khyber P.K) Sindh
and Baluchistan where Muslims were in majority. Due to this idea of a separate homeland he is called the “FATHER OF THE IDEOLOGY” of
Pakistan.
Lahore (Pakistan )Resolution 1940:
On 23rd March 1940, all Muslim leaders gathered at Minto Park Lahore in the Annual Meeting of Muslim league. Lahore Resolution states
that Muslims of United India demand a separate homeland of their own where they could practice Islam. This Resolution was passed
unanimously by all the Muslims who were present in the meeting

Role of Punjab & sindh in the creation of Pakistan:


Punjab was the biggest Muslim majority province of united India. They all
heartedly participated in the creation of Pakistan. Women scholars and students of Punjab and also worked very hard for
Pakistan movement. Pakistan resolution was also passed in the capital of
Punjab, Lahore. In 1945-46 elections, Muslim League won about 90% of Muslim seats in the
provincial assembly of Punjab
Sindh
Sindh was Muslim majority province of united India. Muslim League’s first annual session was held
in Karachi on December
1907. Sindh assembly was the first assembly of South Asia which passed a
resolution in favor of a separate Homeland Pakistan.
• Importance of 14th August 1947.
14th August has a great importance in the history of the subcontinent because Pakistan appeared on the map for the world as an Islamic
ideological state on that day. Really Pakistan came into being by the will and help of Allah as it was 27th
Ramadan (Laila-tul-Qadar) means “The Night of Power”. It was really a fruit of a long and hard struggle of Muslim of United India.
REVIEW:
In this class we discuss about Two Nation Theory: .we discus about Importance of 14th August 1947.And how our ancestor Struggle for making
of Pakistan 1947. That movement was to ensure that the Muslims did not lag behind Hindus in the field
of education. The movement was successful and schools and colleges were opened across the sub-continent for Muslims.

Constitution:
The supreme law of any country is called constitution. It means
"a set of basic laws, rules and regulations which are necessary for running the administration of a
state"
No country can run the business of a state independently and peacefully without a constitution.
Pakistan was founded in 1947 as a Dominion (an independent realm or kingdom) within the British Commonwealth. The
Government of India Act, 1935 is the constitutional that served as an interim constitutional order for both countries until
their respective constituent assemblies adopted their own constitutions. Before writing a constitution, a Constituent
Assembly passed the Objectives Resolution,
and this Objectives resolution was a complete guide line for the future constitution of Pakistan.
