Light is produce from different
sources, however these sources were
classified into two; natural
and artificial sources.
A.Natural Source of Light
1. Sun – It is the primary
source of light on earth.
2. Star – Gives light during
night time especially if
the sky is dark.
3. Lava – Volcanic lava emits
light when volcano erupts
during night time.
4. Firefly – This flying insect is
very unique because of
the natural bulb in its body.
5. Fire - It can be classified as
natural or man-made
source of light.
6. Lightning – Another natural
source of light during stormy
day.

1. Candle – A man-made source of
light that is made out of
wax.
2. Light Bulb – It gives of light
because of the energy
from electricity that passes
on the copper wire.
3. Flashlight – This thing gives of light
because of the energy that
comes from its battery.
4. Christmas Lights – Gives light if
connected to an electric
outlet.
5. Traffic Lights - A kind of road
signal that is used to control
traffic system on roads.
6. Kerosene Lamp – Produces light
because of the gas that is
used.
