ORIGIN Of Clothing
 The earliest pictorial records of dressing are found in
prehistoric cave paintings from the old stone age,

 According to archaeologists and anthropologists, the
earliest clothing probably consisted of fur, leather,
leaves or grass, draped, wrapped or tied around the body.

Out of the four decoration is generally acknowledged
to be primary. There are cultures in which clothing
does not exist, there are no cultures in which some
form of decoration does not exist.
So, probably clothing may have grown out of this
decoration of self, and protection, modesty and status
may have been important motivations for elaboration
and development of complex dress forms.
