TPM (TRAINING & PROCEDURE MANUAL)

 TPM defines the organization and procedures upon which approval of organization is based and these
procedures are approved and must be complied with, as applicable; in order to ensure that all the
activities of the organization including the maintenance of the aircraft are carried out on time to an
approved standard.

 Pilots must familiarize themselves with the complete contents of the Training and Procedure Manual
regarding rules pertaining to conduct of flying training, and details of enabling infrastructure. Skillful
operation of an airplane increases both safety and efficiency of flying.
FOB (FLYING ORDERS BOOK)

 The FOB is as per DGCA CAR Section-7, Series-D, Part-IX, all Flying Training Organisations are
supposed to maintain flying order book (FOB).
 The FOB is prepared as per the DGCA guidelines.
 The FOB shall be reviewed in associated with other operational documents that form the organisation’s
flight safety system.
a)On a regular basis (at least once a year).
b)After major events such as mergers, acquisitions, rapid growth, downsize etc.
c)After technology changes; e.g. introduction of new equipment; and]
d)After changes in safety regulations.

SECTION L(COMMERCIAL PILOT’S LICENCE (AEROPLANES
WITH INSTRUMENT RATING)
A person shall produce evidence of having satisfactorily completed as a pilot of an aeroplane within a
period of five years immediately preceding the date of application for licence not less than 200Hrs of flight
time, which shall include –
a)Not less than hundred hours of flight time as Pilot-in-Command out of which not less than thirty
hours flight time as Student Pilot-in-Command which shall include not more than twenty hours of
cross country flight time and not more than ten hours circuits-landings with minimum ten landings;
b)Not
less than fifteen hours time as Pilot-in-Command flight time within a period of six months
immediately preceding the date of application;
c)Not less than fifty hours cross-country flight time as Pilot-in-Command including a cross-country
flight of not less than three hundred nautical miles in the course of which full stop landings at two
different aerodromes shall be made;
d)Not less than fifty hours cross-country flight time as Pilot-in-Command including a cross-country
flight of not less than three hundred nautical miles in the course of which full stop landings at two
different aerodromes shall be made;
e)Notless than five hours time by night including a minimum of ten take offs and ten landings as Pilot-
in-Command (as sole manipulator of controls) carried out within six months immediately preceding
the date of application for licence:

GENERAL INFORMATION

 Name of Aerodrome- Fursatganj and 4 letter ICAO code is VERB.


 Geographical Coordinates of the Aerodrome Reference Point- the reference datum of the VERB ARP coordinates is
26°14’57.22’’N 81°22’54.12’’E.
 Aerodrome Elevation- the elevation of the aerodrome at ARP is 359ft.
 Aerodrome Beacon- the aerodrome beacon is fixed on top of the ATC tower. It revolves at 12RPM with a total of 24
green and white flashes alternatively.
 The Runway- the runway true bearing is 089/269 degrees, designation number 09/27, length 1800m, width 45m.
The entire surface area is concrete with bitumen overlay. Both runway ends have Turn Pads. RW 27 is Precision
Instrument Approach Runway(Cat-I) & RW 09 is Non-Precision Instrument Approach Runway.
