1. ARE NEWLY-HIRED EMPLOYEES TO BE
RATED?
Yes, as long as they have rendered the minimum rating period of 90 days
before the end of the school year. The same is true to those who are on
leave of absence, on study leave or scholarship grant. (Item 56, DO No. 2,
s. 2015)
Yes, as long as they have rendered the minimum rating period of 90 days
within the school year. The rating period shall cover only until the last
day of actual service rendered. The Performance Rating shall also be
used as basis for PBB.
The development of RPMS in the context of COVID-19 has been carefully reviewed through
various meetings, FGDs, and consultation with various stakeholders and validation of tools, to
ensure its possible implementation. It is anchored on the Philippine Professional Standards for
Teachers, specifically priority indicators: 7 Classroom observable (Alternative method), 4- Non
classroom observable and 1- Plus Factor.
